After a childhood spent in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), Sigué Sayouba returns to Burkina Faso for high school. Through inter-school dance competitions, he joined the cultural and artistic milieu of Ouagadougou and trained in traditional and modern dances. Spotted in 2001 by the young Burkinabe choreographer Souleymane Porgo, he joined his company (choreographic company Téguéré) and was introduced to contemporary dance and African dance. He also benefited from the training of several other choreographers, different styles and origins.
Thus dance, from a mere educational distraction, gradually becomes a passion, which he made his job today. He has participated in a dozen creations with famous dancers in Africa such as Irène Tassembédo (in Souffles, Carmen Falinga Awa and Le sacre du tempo), Serges Aimé Coulibaly (in A Benguer and Babemba) …
